Many years ago (and I do mean many, many years ago) I was a young and impressionable real estate associate. The real estate brokerage I worked for offered no training to help me with my career. It seemed that I was always waiting for something to happen, the phone to ring….maybe an ad call, a walk-in….maybe a buyer? A listing? You get the idea; I was always waiting for something. In fact, the whole office was starving for activity.


I had no idea what a big and profitable world it is out there. I just didn’t know what I was missing…? Let’s face it, I didn’t know what I didn’t know…..


At the beginning or both my career as an agent and as a newbie investor, I suspect that we (you and I) may have had similar ideas about making money in real estate. I got my real estate license with the hopes of owning my own house someday or maybe even a duplex. I would rent out one side and live in the other side…..! Sound familiar……?
